About JW Remodel

My name is John, and I’m the owner of JW Remodel. I’ve called West Seattle home for over 20 years. I’ve been working in home renovation for years, including running my own remodeling business in the past, and I really enjoy helping people turn their spaces into something they love. Before getting back into remodeling full-time, I spent almost 2 decades in nursing, which taught me a lot about communication, attention to detail, and showing up for people—things I carry into my work every day. As a homeowner and a dad of three, I understand how important it is for your home to function well and feel comfortable. When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me skiing, mountain biking, gardening, or just spending time with my kids.
